What is an ASX IPO?
When a company IPOs (undertakes an Initial Public Offering), it starts selling its shares to the public, on an exchange, in order to raise capital. Prior to these shares becoming tradable on the ASX, the company sells the IPO shares at a fixed price to investors, such as financial institutions or individuals. Stake partners with lead managers and brokers to give you easy access to buy these shares in certain companies before they first open for trading on the ASX.
