It’s easy to sign up for an SMSF, Company or Trust account on Stake. It should take less than ten minutes to start the process, whether on web or the Stake app.
How to open an SMSF, Company or Trust account
If you already have an Individual account, here’s what to do:
Log into the Stake app
Head to More > Your Accounts > Add New Account
Select the account type you want to open
Follow the prompts for the application journey, which will use the details from your existing account
If you don't have an individual account, one will be automatically created for you when you sign up for an SMSF, Company or Trust account. Simply download the Stake app or head to trading.hellostake.com to sign up.
What you’ll need
For setting up an SMSF, you'll need to provide:
The ABN of your SMSF and details of the trustee company or individuals
Personal details of the directors or individual trustees
Electronic signatures from all required signatories
For Company accounts:
The ABN or ACN of the company
Personal details of the directors
Electronic signatures from all required signatories
For Trust accounts:
A fully executed and signed Trust deed (including any deed variations or amendments)
The ABN and full name of the Trust
The ACN and full name of the corporate trustee (if applicable)
Trustee and beneficiary details
Please note that additional information may be requested by our onboarding team to successfully open a new account. AUD funds and balances
SMSF, Company, and Trust account holders have a digital transaction account for their AUD.
This account is provided by Airwallex, which maintains the funds of Stake customers covered by a bank guarantee issued by an Australian bank, in accordance with the requirements of APRA.
